This private tour will allow you to discover two of the symbols of Venice: the Doge's Palace and the St. Mark's Basilica.
The visit will begin at the Doge's Palace, built between the 11th and 12th centuries on the site of an ancient fortified settlement and converted into the residence of the Doges. Inside you will be able to see the Dogo's flats, the government rooms, the torture chamber and the Piombi, the former prisons where Giacomo Casanova, the only one who managed to escape from this escape-proof place.
Your guide will then take you inside the St. Mark's Basilica, a majestic example of Byzantine architecture, rich in beautiful golden mosaics and adorned with five domes. The Basilica is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cathedrals in the world, a perfect blend of architectural and artistic styles, testimony to the ancient wealth and power of the Serenissima.

Meeting point
Your guide will be waiting for you in front of the Charter Gate of the Doge's Palace and will have a sign with your name on it. We recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time of the tour.

If you are late, the visit will not be guaranteed and no reimbursement will be made.
If you do not take part in the tour, there will be no refund.
Only decorously dressed persons are allowed to enter the sacred places (short shorts, miniskirts, tank tops and hats are forbidden).
