Verona is known all over the world as the capital of Romeo and Juliet's turbulent love, a city that has played host to the story of the world's two most famous lovers.
The Juliet House Museum is housed in a medieval building, where the Dal Cappello family may have resided since the 13th century. The Cappello-Capuleti association has led to the belief that this was Juliet's house, also for the emblem carved in a relief in the keystone of the inner arch of the building's courtyard.
Over the centuries, the building has undergone numerous restorations and renovations, passing through the hands of different owners and increasing the popular belief that it was the birthplace of Giulietta Capuleti.
