The Colosseum, officially known as the Flavian Amphitheatre, is one of the most iconic monuments in Rome and the entire world. Built under the emperors Vespasian and Titus between 70 and 80 AD, the Colosseum could accommodate up to 50,000 spectators drawn to gladiator games, wild animal hunts, and mock naval battles. With its imposing four tiers of travertine arches, it represents a masterpiece of Roman engineering and architecture. Despite the damage caused by earthquakes and looting over the centuries, much of its original structure is still visible, testifying to the grandeur of the Roman Empire. Today, the Colosseum is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Italy, a symbol of Rome's enduring and rich history. The site is also recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

You can stay inside the ancient Colosseum Amphitheater for a maximum of 75 minutes and then continue your visit to the Roman Forum and the Palatine.

Admission to the museum takes place at a specific date and time. Select the time slot from which the specific entry time will be selected based on the museum's availability.

ATTENTION: the reservation will be confirmed for a unique schedule included in the requested time frame and the reservation will be valid exclusively during that time, therefore, we advise you to ensure your availability throughout the selected period of time with the aim of respecting the schedule assigned in the voucher.

The Colosseum ticket is valid for the date and time confirmed in the voucher.

You will have 24 hours of time, with the same ticket, after visiting the Colosseum to visit the Roman Forum and the Palatine.

Where do I pick up the ticket

The day of the visit you will have to show your voucher at the "Sperone Valadier" Colosseum entry, remember to arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time.

The ticket is valid for a single entry to each site.
If you are late you will lose the reservation and you will not be refunded.

For security reasons, all visitors must be checked. 
To facilitate security controls, we ask you to insert any object (including mobile phones) in your backpack or in the special tray that will go through the X-ray machine.

For security reasons, it is forbidden to enter the Colosseum with bottles, glass containers, alcoholic beverages and aerosol cans, camping backpacks, bulky bags and suitcases / trolley. Access is allowed for medium and small backpacks that must be subjected, like any other bag, to the metal detector.

Remember that you must show an identity document at the entrance, in case of having reduced price tickets.
