Transfer to Pompeii (approx. 40 minutes) in new and comfortable air-conditioned minibuses driven by professional drivers. At 11.00 a.m., there will be a 2-hour visit to the archaeological site of Pompeii. An experienced guide will explain the history and show you the most important places of the excavations, such as the Forum, the thermal baths, the Lupanare, the Greek Theatre and, the plaster casts of the bodies of the inhabitants of Pompeii, which were buried in the ashes and lapilli during the terrible eruption that destroyed the Roman city in 79 A.D. At the end of the visit, there will be a guided tour of the archaeological site of Pompeii. At the end of the visit, there will be a break for lunch with pizza&bibita formula. Then transfer to Torre del Greco, where you will access the Vesuvius National Park, up to an altitude of 1.000 metres above sea level. You will start the hike to the top of Vesuvius, the world-famous volcano, from the parking lot. Once you reach the crater at an altitude of 1200 metres, you will enjoy the breathtaking view of the Gulf of Naples. Return to the hotel around 17:15 hrs.
