The tour will start in Piazza del Gesù, one of the most famous squares of Naples, after which your specialized guide will take you to discover the heart of the Neapolitan city: Spaccanapoli. Here you will experience the real Neapolitan lifestyle, admire its splendid buildings, churches of different architectural styles, and enjoy the colours and aromas of this neighbourhood. You will stroll through the characteristic alleys of San Gregorio Armeno, famous for its crib shops. You will continue with a visit to Piazza San Domenico Maggiore and reach the Chapel of San Severo, where a true masterpiece of sculpture, the Veiled Christ, awaits you. You will then continue to Piazza San Gaetano, the oldest square in the city. This is where the agora was located in Greek times and the forum in Roman times. You will end the tour with a visit to the 13th century Cathedral of San Gennaro, where the blood of the city's patron saint is preserved. During the so-called Miracle of San Gennaro, the blood turns liquid, bringing good luck and prosperity to the city.

Meeting point

The meeting point with the guide will be in front of the Tourist Information Point in Piazza del Gesù Nuovo. It is recommended to arrive 15 minutes before the starting time of the tour.

If you arrive late, you will not be able to take the tour and no refund will be possible.
If you do not participate in the tour, no refund will be possible.
Access to the sacred sites is permitted only to properly dressed persons. Shorts, mini-skirts, tank tops and hats are prohibited.
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Comfortable shoes are recommended. Prams are not recommended.
The tour takes place in all weather conditions, so please dress appropriately.
Unfortunately, the tour is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
