This guided tour will allow you to visit the walls and towers of Castello Sforzesco, usually closed to the public, thanks to an exclusive opening reserved for our visit. A journey back in time, to the Renaissance period, to discover this imposing building.
The castle was built as a defensive fortress for the Visconti family and was later transformed by the Sforza family, whose name remains to this day. Our guide will accompany you along the walls of the Castle, from where you will enjoy a magnificent view over the city of Milan and its skyscrapers, and you will be able to admire the towers and bastions up close while listening to the stories and anecdotes related to this symbol of the city. You will also visit the guard room, inside the Torrione dei Carmini, where you can see reproductions of the weapons used during the different periods in which the castle was used as a fortress, and the beautiful courtyard.
The tour is in English only. For safety reasons, children under 8 years of age are not allowed..
Due to the height and the numerous steps to be climbed during the tour (120 steps), this visit is not recommended for people with mobility difficulties or heart problems.

Meeting point
The meeting point is the Info Point of the Sforza Castle, under the Filarete Tower. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the tour start time.
