The Birthplace of Luigi Pirandello in Agrigento is a site of great cultural and historical significance. Located in the picturesque Sicilian landscape, it offers visitors a full immersion into the life and works of the renowned playwright and author. The house-museum preserves original furnishings, photographs, and documents that narrate Pirandello's personal and artistic journey. Each room is filled with the atmosphere that influenced his literary production. Outside, a centuries-old olive tree guards the writer’s ashes, respecting his final wishes. The museum is open from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM and from 2:30 PM to 7:30 PM, and on Sundays and holidays from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
