- Walking tour included
- Stroll through the Oltrarno neighbourhood
- Walk up to the wonderful panoramic terrace of the Piazzale Michelangelo

The visit begins at the Ponte Vecchio, with its numerous jewellery shops. Looking up, you can see the famous Vasari Corridor, which passes just over the bridge and connects the Uffizi Gallery with the Boboli Gardens. Continuing along the river Arno, you will reach the Oltrarno neighbourhood, the historic artisan district of Florence, and from here, via a somewhat hidden staircase, you will climb up to the Piazzale Michelangelo, the magnificent panoramic terrace that offers a breathtaking view of the entire city. The Piazzale Michelangelo was built in the 19th century to honour the great artist Michelangelo Buonarroti and in the centre of the square is a copy of his most famous sculpture: the David.
Going up a little further, you will reach the Basilica of San Miniato al Monte, a real jewel of Romanesque architecture located right at the top of the hill: the view from here is truly breathtaking! Here you can visit the Monumental Cemetery of Porte Sante, where the remains of important artists such as Pietro Annigoni and Libero Andreotti are buried.
