Accompanied by an expert guide, you will start your tour at the Galleria dell'Accademia, home to the world-renowned David by Michelangelo. Afterward, the visit will continue through the streets of the historic center: you will pass through the San Lorenzo district and its namesake Basilica, continuing towards Piazza Duomo with its impressive Cathedral. During the walk, as you listen to the guide's explanations about the history of the city and the Medici family, you will stop at a characteristic wine "buchetta," where you can enjoy a good glass of local wine.
The wine "buchette" are true architectural gems, with around 150 still in use in the historic center, offering a glimpse into past traditions. The tour will conclude at the Central Market, where the guide can recommend some of the best Tuscan specialties and where you can purchase souvenirs to take home from your trip!
